Shelini
Shelini’s career started in the retail sector about 25 years ago. With an ambitious nature, knowledge & transferrable skills, Shelini has successfully gained experience within several industries in various management roles.
Shelini moved into private healthcare 14 years ago and successfully managed the non-clinical departments of a very busy private hospital in London.
Shelini has championed some major projects including Choose & Book & NHS Contracts, which she managed with great efficiency and dedication.
She soon became the first port of call for both patients and consultants due to her extensive knowledge and ability to resolve issues that arose in a very professional manner. She developed her knowledge further in Self pay pricing for self-paying patients, dealing with insured patients and business development. Shelini has worked with consultants from various specialities.
In 2015, Shelini realised there was a gap in the market for a good secretarial service. In September 2015, Shelini set up SD Medsec Services with Diane O’Hagan. Her aim was to fill the gap in the market by providing professional, efficient and dedicated secretarial services to consultants in the Private Healthcare sector.
Diane
Diane started her career in Private Healthcare over 25 years ago as a Medical Secretary in the Cardiology department. Diane is a qualified Medical Secretary with a diploma from AMSPAR and a diploma in medical terminology.
Through the years, she has with sincere hard work and dedication worked within various areas of the hospital to gain an elaborate understanding of the healthcare business. Diane successfully worked her way into a management role within a couple of years.
Her experience involves working with consultant from various specialities like, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular and many others.
Diane’s passion towards delivering excellent customer service & her willingness to always go the extra mile rewarded her with the admiration, acknowledgement & appreciation from her colleagues & consultants from all specialities.
Diane is a key part to SD Medsec Services as she brings her vast experience & knowledge to the team.
